The TDA7377 can be seen as an improved version of TDA7297. While TDA7297 is designed for stereo use only, TDA7377 offers the possibility of using the four integrated amplifier blocks individually or in bridge configuration. The four channel individual use does not offer much output power (4x6 Watt in 4 Ohm) so the bridge mode (stereo) is the most relevant. The TDA7377 has got lower THD than the TDA7297 chip and uses the same supply voltage range.
